PRESENTATION
The patient attention with chronic diseases, disabilities and problems related with the aging process are challenges of all Health systems.The attention to patients with home mechanical ventilation is a good example of the way to give answer to the complexity needs, with different points of views, clinical, social and the management of care. The attention to these patients must be considered from several dimensions:
- Attention to patients with graves diseases (Duchenne Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis...)
- Disabilities and mobility problems (wheel chairs…)
- Communication
- Adaptations for transport
- Activities to daily life
- Vital support in ventilation ventilator failure
The aim of the Workshop is to present this type of needs, further on the technical aspects related to the ventilation support.
